OOTD: Coral Colour Pop

Hold on to your hats, ladies and gents! Today I am attempting my very first OOTD post. Now, I do not claim to be a model by any stretch of the imagination, and my poor Steve does not claim to be an expert photographer (or even an amateur one!).

So you can kind of guess where I am going with this! To say I felt a bit of a fool taking these pictures would be an understatement. However, I really liked the outfit so it had to be done!

On with the show. Scroll down for pictures of me in all my finery!

The reason I decided this outfit deserved a post, has to be the top. I am so in love with it. I say coral but I guess it is more of bright orange! The gold detailing on the pocket is a nice touch and the top has a really good quality feel. The top is a little bit sheer so I did have to pop a black vest underneath.

The jeans were another winner in my opinion. I can’t even begin to explain how soft these are! It’s amazing. They are also a great fit which always hard to find with jeans, especially when ordered online. I rarely wear jeans and tend to veer towards leggings most of the time, but I think you may be seeing these jeans a few more times in future!

To finish off the outfit, I paired it with my little black studded boots which I originally bought for college as it meant spending a lot of the day on my feet. These are quite comfy and I love the cute stud detail.

My cross-body bag was a good match for the boots and is one I have had for at least 5 years! The strap has broken a few times and been repaired, so is drastically shorter now than when I originally bought it. I refuse to part ways with this bag though and will keep repairing the strap until the rest of the bag falls apart! This bag is my fail safe and gets paired with just about any kind of outfit as it is nice, small and convenient.

I chose the necklace to go with the pocket detail of the top and it is a nice simple piece that is again a bit of a fail safe of mine!

To combat the cold (see what I did there?), I added my trusty combat jacket over the top which is lovely and cosy but still light enough to wear if it gets a bit warmer. So perfect for unpredictable Irish weather!

Here’s my lovely assistant Steve, striking a pose! 😛

Love that top! I’ve never liked it before but I’ve started to really like coral coloured things!
That combat jacket goes so well with it! 🙂
Would love to see more OOTD posts! I think I will have to start putting more up myself!
I stopped doing them but they can be lots of fun!
You make a great model and Steve’s photography skills are great haha! 😀

I didn’t realise you used to do them! Will have to have a look back on your blog for a nose 🙂

I love coral! I don’t really own many things that are coral other than make-up but I wish I did! Haha, I will pass on your compliments to Steve. His head is big enough as it is though! 😛
