A few weeks ago, the lovely Aisling of TotalMakeUpAddict posted about the Irish Bloggers Secret Santa. The idea was that who ever wanted to get involved would be assigned another person and send them a present for €20 or less, not including postage :).
I knew I wanted to get in on the action right away! I figured it would be an awesome way to find out about some of the other Irish blogging ladies I had yet to come across! I was given Colette of The World In My Wardrobe, and if you would like to see the gift I sent her, you can pop over and check out her blog post :).
Obviously though, the most exciting part of Secret Santa is receiving a gift!! So when mine arrived, I couldn’t wait to see who it was from.
The present arrived wrapped in beautiful paper and with a gorgeous little card that my Secret Santa had designed herself! How thoughtful is that?! Such a nice touch :). Inside the card, all was revealed and my Secret Santa was shown to be Nirina Plunkett of Killer Fashion! She even included a little business card which I would show you guys but as it has her phone number on it I don’t think I should share!
If you check out the amazing banner on her blog though, you can get an idea of what it looked like! Now on to the gifts :).
First up, was a black and hot pink makeup bag which is actually fantastic! Makeup bags are something I definitely need, but for some reason I never buy them! I will be making use of this right away :). Inside the bag was a beautiful silvery white loose pigment from FCUK which is such a nice colour and perfect for Christmas time!
Then there was a little black lipstick holder with a mirror inside and finally in that bag, there was a pretty pink, blue and cream hair tie. That’s not all though!
There was a still another present to unwrap!
It was this gorgeous Ted Baker London gift set featured a creamy pink nail polish and matching lip gloss. I am in love with the packaging and had been eyeing up some of his sets in Boots for myself, so I am so delighted to receive this!
Nirina really me spoilt with all these gifts and I am so grateful :). The card was especially beautiful and such a nice idea. Be sure to check out her blog to have a look at her Secret Santa post!!
A huge thank you to Nirina and of course a big big thanks to Aisling for putting this whole thing together! It was so much fun to get involved and pick out a gift and now I look forward to reading everyone else’s posts!
