ASOS Winter Coat Wishlist

ASOS Wishlist: Winter Coat Edition

It’s that time of year again! It is starting to get cold, wet and generally miserable outside. Which means it is time to wrap up warm!

I honestly can’t remember the last time I bought a coat. I think it was back when we moved to the UK and before that it had been about 3 years… My current one, doesn’t really fit anymore and as it doesn’t close, it’ll do a hard job of keeping me warm! That can only mean one thing. It’s time to shop!!!

As I am stuck at home with the flu, I thought now would be perfect time to browse for some protection from the elements. This has led to me compiling my first ASOS wishlist! And as you can see it’s an ASOS Winter Coat Wishlist! YAY!!

ASOS Wishlist: Winter Coat Edition ASOS Wishlist: Winter Coat Edition ASOS Wishlist: Winter Coat Edition

First up are two Oasis beauts and a stunning Karen Millen number.

Oasis Two Tone Drape Coat €132.08

This gorgeous two tone grey coat with black belt looks so glamorous to me. Even those with no clue about style (like me!), can look like they know what they are doing in this one! Unfortunately, this will stay firmly on the wishlist for 2 reasons. Firstly, the price is a bit too much for me for a coat I would not be wearing everyday. Secondly, I have a rather large chest area (ahem) which means I would need to go up to an 18 for a coat to close and Oasis, like far too many shops, do not cater to anyone over a size 16. Meh :(.

Oasis Salt And Pepper Biker Coat €134.78

Next up is another Oasis coat that I will never get my hands on! I still adore this though. I love the look of oversized coats and love the zipper detail on this. I would look like a sack of grey potatoes in it but a girl can still dream :).

Karen Millen Coat in Ombre Tweed €370.65

This is my if I win the lotto coat. Ombre clothing can be hit or miss I think but this for me is a massive hit! The leather contrast details on the shoulders, collar and sleeves really make this one for me. As well as the long zip on each sleeve! Such a cute addition. If anyone can find me a fake version of this for less, please let me know!!

I’m sure you can see my love of grey and black emerging now. Sorry I’m not sorry! 😛

Vila Oversized Zip Trim Coat €121.30

Oh Vila. How I adore you. This is a stunning navy coat from one of my favourite brands EVER. Look at the leather detailing! Look at the zip! Just look at it! SWOON

Noisy May Biker Coat €121.30

Noisy May is a brand I only came across today but more than one of their coats has made the list. Probably because they are a sister brand of Vero Moda which is another of my favourites! I love the large popper style buttons on this and the shape of the front. When it is all buttoned up the double lapels look fricking cool. Just sayin’!

ASOS Popper Front Coatigan €94.35

Oh no! A coatigan made the list! This is the first ASOS own brand coat to make it onto my wishlist. I can imagine this being really comfy and cosy. The big pockets should keep cold hands nice and toasty 🙂

Warehouse Check Duffle Coat €128.04

Wearing duvets outdoors is frowned upon. Or so I hear! So this is the next best thing in my opinion! Doesn’t it look so warm?! I am a sucker for a duffle coat and here is one that won’t make you look like Paddington Bear 🙂

A Wear Metallic Parka €80.87

I normally hate parkas with fur look collars like this one. But for some reason it caught my eye and I made an exception! I am loving the shiny navy finish and the price too!

ASOS Casual Parka With Leather Look Trims €101.09

This is more my kinda parka. The khaki against the black takes this one up a knotch. These are so handy for keeping warm and dry in winter and for throwing on with some wellies during music festival season! Which means better value for money. Woop woop!!

My Top 4 Picks

Yes, that’s top 4. I couldn’t bring myself to only choose 3 🙂

New Look Belted Snood Coat €53.90

How could this not make the top list? It just had to! I love the colour. Of course :). This is one that can definitely be dressed up or down and still looks like it would do the job and keep you nice and warm. Can we talk about the price?! Cheapest on my list and in my opinion it looks more expensive than it is which is always great!

Noisy May Oversized Coat With Faux Leather Collar €114.56

My second item from this brand and even more stunning than the last. I am torn between getting the reasonably priced coat above or spending a fair bit more for this one. The moss green colour is blowing my little mind. And look at the size of that faux leather collar! I think I’m in love guys…

ASOS Duffle Coat With PU Trims & Borg Lining €107.82

This is such a cute little coat. I don’t know about you, but I kind of like the Paddington Bear look! This seems like a nice comfy reliable coat, though I can imagine it getting pretty grubby pretty fast if I wore it as an everyday coat. However, it is also available in black for those of us prone to being a mess! 😀 UPDATE!!!!! Penneys/Primark actually have an amazing dupe for this for only €31 yoyo’s! They don’t have the black but they have the beige, a navy and a teal version 🙂 I may pick one up for myself this week!!

Esprit Parka With Detachable Teddy Fur Lining €187.34

This one blows the budget out the window but wow. How cool is this? So comfortable and practical looking but still trendy. I look this hood too! Imagine how toasty your ears would be! The lovely dark shade of green is what bumped it upto the top for me.

So there you have it! My first and definitely not last wishlist! That was so fun :). There are definitely a few on the list above they may not have to remain wishes and may become a reality. We shall see!

Which one of the above is your favourite? Or have you got your own coat wishlist? I would love to know!

Until next time! xxxx

  • Gail (@GailyGumdrops) October 15, 2013 at 9:16 pm

They are all gorgeous, great choices! I’ve ordered a Parka from Simply Be (similarish to the ASOS one with leather trims)…I can’t wait for it to arrive so I can be all warm and snuggly! xx

    • polishedandprimed@gmail.com October 15, 2013 at 9:30 pm

I always forget to look on Simply Be!! Everytime I see their ads I think I must check out the site and never remember :O I’ll have to take a gander later on while it’s fresh in mind! 😀
